Hi there! I'm Catalina and this is the world according to my camera(s) - sometimes colorful, sometimes black and white, and most of the time far away from home.
I love to travel, I do so as often as I can, and I definitely start getting antsy when I've been home for too long. I'm a low maintenance traveller, nothing but the essentials in my favorite small backpack that's seen the world along with me. My cameras have often weighed more than all the rest of my stuff.
My usual means of travel are... eclectic. I've been on planes, trains, and automobiles, rural buses, tuk tuks, ferries, rowboats, but my very favorite of the bunch will always be riding along on a motorcycle with my partner in crime.
Equipment-wise, my current main camera is a Nikon D5200, usually with my favorite 18-270mm Tamron all-rounder, but you'll also see photos around here that I've taken with a 10-18mm Nikkor, or a lovely 40mm Nikkor, and also with a Nikon D3100 body, or even an Olympus XZ-1 compact. Hell, I'll shoot a phone camera if that's all I have handy, I'm not picky.
I sometimes enjoy filming and editing videos, as well. No fancy equipment, just my trusty DSLR and a GoPro for the more adventurous expeditions, but it's quickly becoming my new favorite thing.
